Homelessness

The single homeless strategy, "Without A Home", was identified as a priority in the 1997 bid for inclusion in the rough sleepers initiative programme. It reflects the needs of single people in temporary and insecure accommodation, such as hostels and houses in multiple occupation, as well as people sleeping rough. We want to improve access to housing support and care management, and target advice and information to prevent homelessness, particularly among young people.
