Grass Cutting

The Parks Service consists of approximately 40 staff who are based at several sites within the city, however the majority of staff are located at the Civic Offices, where grounds maintenance, arboricultural, landscape, play and administrative teams carry out the day-to-day tasks of parks management.

We also have external contractors who carry out the maintenance relating to our grounds and tree contracts. English Landscapes are responsible for the grounds maintenance in the north, south and east of the city. Glendale Industries are responsible for the grounds maintenance in the west of the city and on our cemeteries and golf courses.
