Libraries

There are nine libraries in Portsmouth, all providing a wide range of services - from books to videos and language courses to Playstation© games and CDs. We have books suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities and we also provide free access to the internet and e-mail from every library in Portsmouth.

We hold regular storytimes at all our branches for our younger visitors and frequently arrange events for all people of all ages.

In addition, we provide the Mobile Library service for residents in Drayton and Farlington as well as the Family Library Link service for local community groups. We also have the Housebound Service for anybody not able to get to one of our libraries.
