Sea Defences

Portsmouth is one of the most vulnerable cities to coastal erosion in Britain so sea defences are very important to us. The Coastal Group take on a wide range of issues related to the coastline on our behalf. One of the roles they carry out is recommending future coastal policy to us and implementing any approved works to ensure that flood and coastal defences are maintained to the appropriate standards.
